HUBUNGAN TINGKAT STRES DENGAN KEJADIAN DISPEPSIA

Dispepsia merupakan salah satu sindrom gangguan pencernaan yang sering dijumpai di masyarakat dan dapat mengganggu kenyamanan serta aktivitas sehari-hari penderitanya. Keluhan dispepsia umumnya ditandai dengan rasa nyeri atau tidak nyaman pada ulu hati, mual, kembung, cepat kenyang, dan rasa penuh setelah makan. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memicu terjadinya dispepsia adalah kondisi psikologis, terutama stres. Stres dapat memengaruhi fungsi saluran pencernaan melalui peningkatan sekresi hormon kortisol yang berperan dalam merangsang produksi asam lambung, sehingga dapat memperberat keluhan dispepsia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan stres dengan kejadian dispepsia di UPTD Puskesmas Cot Kuta Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 60 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada periode 30 Juni sampai dengan 22 Juli 2025. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner DASS 42 untuk mengukur tingkat stres dan kuesioner gejala dispepsia untuk menilai kejadian dispepsia. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden mengalami stres sedang sebanyak 28,3% dan stres sangat berat sebanyak 28,3%. Selain itu, mayoritas responden mengalami dispepsia kategori berat sebanyak 56,7%. Hasil uji Chi-Square diperoleh nilai p-value 0,000, yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara stres dengan kejadian dispepsia di UPTD Puskesmas Cot Kuta Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Petugas kesehatan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan edukasi mengenai manajemen stres sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan kekambuhan dispepsia.
